Where the warehouse is, and why that decides your cost
Our warehouse is in Klang, a short drive from both Westport and Northport. For export cargo it means goods can be received, consolidated and loaded without a long inland leg before they even reach the port.

What we store — and what we don’t
General cargo: cartons, palletised goods, machinery and parts, building and industrial materials, packaged consumer goods. We handle project and awkward-shaped cargo, and we do a lot of glass and fragile material, which is a discipline of its own.

How warehouse storage is charged in Malaysia
Storage is normally quoted one of three ways: per pallet per day or week, per square foot per month, or per cubic metre for loose cargo. Which one is cheaper depends entirely on your goods — tall, light, palletised cargo prices very differently from dense, floor-stacked material.
Two questions decide your actual bill, and they are the two most quotes leave vague:
- When does the clock start? On gate-in, or on the day the goods are put away? On a long-stay consignment that difference is real money.
- Are the days calendar or working days? With Malaysia’s public holidays, the same “30 days” can differ by several chargeable days.
Handling in and out is usually billed separately from storage. Ask for both, and ask what a part-collection costs — pulling ten cartons out of a hundred is a different job from releasing the lot.
Bonded warehousing vs general storage
A bonded warehouse is a Customs-approved facility where imported goods are held with duty and tax suspended until they are released for local use — or re-exported without duty ever becoming payable. It suits goods you are holding for a decision, for re-export, or for staged local release.
General warehousing is ordinary commercial storage. Duty and SST were already settled at clearance; the goods are simply yours, sitting in our building.
Most importers do not need bonded storage, and paying for it “just in case” is a common way to spend money for nothing. The test is simple: if the goods may leave Malaysia again, or you genuinely cannot yet say when they will be sold locally, bonded is worth pricing. Otherwise general storage is cheaper and simpler. Consolidation and container loading
If you buy from several suppliers, we receive each shipment as it arrives, hold it, and load one container when the last one lands. That turns several small shipments into one FCL — usually the single largest saving available on a multi-supplier order.
We also supervise container loading: how the cargo is stowed, secured and photographed before the doors close. For fragile and high-value goods that is the difference between a claim you can prove and one you cannot.
What you get in writing
Goods received against a packing list, discrepancies reported the same day rather than at collection, and a stock position you can ask for at any time. Release only against your written instruction. None of this is remarkable — but “the warehouse said they would check and never came back” is one of the most common complaints in this industry, and it is entirely avoidable.
